About program

Join us at the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum for a communal arts activation, presented in partnership with Court Theatre to celebrate the world premiere of Berlin.

In this activation – comprised of a shared meal, a bookmaking workshop, and collective creation and reflection – multidisciplinary artist and educator Silvia Ines Gonzalez will draw on Berlin’s themes of resistance; how knowledge is cultivated and spread in our communities, now and in the future; and Hull-House practices of participatory artmaking. Let’s imagine new ways to shape our shared world – together.

In order to make the most of your experience, we encourage you to see Berlin, onstage from April 19 – May 11 at Court Theatre (5535 S. Ellis Ave).
