These are original keys to the Hull-House settlement. Spero Petsios used these keys every day as the building’s caretaker from 1933 to 1955.
A musician, Petsios came to Chicago from Greece in 1928, and met his wife, a dancer from Istanbul, at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1933.
