Close out Perennial City: Experiments in Urban Gardening with an intimate conversation with a key exhibition collaborator. Nate Ela is associate professor of Law at Temple University of author of the forthcoming Cultivating the City: The Long Struggle to Put Land to Use (University of Chicago Press, 2027). He will join Hull-House Director Liesl Olson for a conversation about land use, urban gardening at Hull-House,  and the history of public green spaces in Chicago. They will also consider how communities today can take action when it comes to how the land around them is stewarded.

In advance of the conversation, read Ela’s contribution to our journal here.
